How does the daily vote work?
Each featured pet gets a public number and four name options. Vote for the name you think is real. Real-time results appear after you vote, but the answer stays hidden until time is up.
When is the answer revealed?
The featured pet reveal unlocks after the voting window ends. The previous featured pet appears on the Vote page and is archived on Past Pets.
What is the difference between a Featured Pet and a Community Pet?
A Featured Pet appears in the main daily Vote game, receives a locked public number, and gets a reveal page after voting closes. A Community Pet lives in Community Pets and can collect votes right away.
What is the difference between Guess my pet's real name and Help name my pet?
Guess my pet's real name is for pets who already have a name. People try to identify the real name from a set of options. Help name my pet is for naming a new pet, so voters are recommending their favorite name rather than guessing a secret answer.
What happens when I submit my pet for guessing?
Your submission goes into the review queue. If it is approved and featured, we email you when your pet goes live and again when the final voting results are ready.
How many times can I submit?
Please submit each pet once for a given game type. You can submit unlimited distinct pets, as long as each submission is for a different pet.
Can I edit a submission after I send it?
Not directly yet. If you need to fix a name, photo, pronouns, or other detail, send a note through the Contact Us page and include the email you used when submitting.
How long will it take to find out if my pet is featured?
Featured Pet timing depends on the review queue and launch schedule. If your pet is selected, we will email you when it goes live. If you opted into Community Pets and your pet is not selected for the featured game, it may become a Community Pet instead.
What happens when I ask people to help name my pet?
A Community Pets poll is created immediately. You get a shareable link so friends, family, and followers can vote on the name picks.
Are cats and other pets allowed?
Yes. Dogs are the starting point, but cats and other pets can be submitted too.
Can I choose the fake names?
You can lock generated names you like, but you cannot write in custom decoy names. That keeps the game safer and easier to moderate.
Will every submitted pet be featured?
Not necessarily. Featured pets are selected from the review queue. If you opt in, a pet that is not selected as a featured pet may still be used in Community Pets.
Can I share my pet's poll?
Yes. Help name my pet submissions get a shareable poll link immediately. Featured Pets can be shared once they are live, and final reveal pages can be shared after voting closes.
Why do you ask for my email?
Email is optional. If you share it on a Guess my pet's real name submission, we can tell you if your pet is featured and send the final voting results. It is not needed for Help name my pet polls.
How do I ask for something to be removed?
Send a note through the Contact Us page with enough detail for us to find the submission or poll.
